'ruth'

Okay so this is really random and doesn't relate to anything, but it popped in my head as I was having a conversation with myself about someone else. Yeah, I talk to myself, but it's like thinking out loud. Nothing crazy about it. I've come across many people in my day who I would characterize as ruthless individuals. Let's deconstruct this word morphologically. Think back to middle school. The suffix -less means without. So the word ruthless means without ruth. Now what he heck does ruth mean? Have a great day.

LOL...you are such an English nerd, but I like it!

The fact that you have conversations with yourself is totally dine. I do it all the time...especially in the morning when I need to talk myself into getting out of the bed! lol

ruth is actually derived from reuthe which means "pity or compassion"

its a middle english word circa 1125-75 B.C.

here something else to think about since you are not worrying about wireless minutes: The creator of LSD died at 102.

@sheletha: thanks for that. i really was curious. here something else to think about since you are not worrying about wireless minutes: who said i'm not worrying about my wireless minutes? The creator of LSD died at 102. you mean the drug lsd?

@jameil: i couldn't go to sleep cause it was time for me to walk out the door for work. i appreciated sheleta's assistance.

why are you worrying about wireless minutes when you could have the everything plan??

JayBee said...

@sheletha: i'm really confused. what is this wireless minutes stuff about? was it a joke and i didn't get it? if so pardon me, but i have slow moments sometimes...or is the wireless minutes vs. the anything plan a metaphor for something else? *wonders to self if he's losing brain cells* or is it like a play on those wireless commericials. i think that's what it is. i get it now.
